18 Hour Work Day: Done.

It is getting intense. I went in to work for a couple hours this morning to finish getting projection set up, change out poster cases, open the theater, set up the autograph table, and any other thing under the sun. It was kind of awesome. Two Sheriff’s deputies came on with a box for me, turns out it was my thank you for personally delivering the sheriff’s season pass for the movies. I got a coffee cup, a leather notebook, and a day planner. Silly I know, but I have never gotten a coolish perk before.

This is ridiculous. Less than fifty people so far today. This is especially bad considering out id dollar popcorn and drink day. One upside is that part of the calm is due to me being awesome and fixing the projection room. Haven’t climbed those steps since open. I am so thrilling!

Met Elijah Kelly Tonight At Work.
He came by with some of his people. They want to do a big premier night for the movie Red Tails that he is in. So that was pretty cool.
Otherwise, it was a really quiet 14 hour day at work.
I was asleep, but I woke up. Going to try and sleep some more now. Figured I would let people know I am still around, just kind of boring while I wait to hear stuff about a promotion.

Activating My New Phone Is Rough.
Having a migraine and being stuck on hold is not a positive experience.
Apparently, I can’t transfer my number because I am in a “non-activation zone”. Getting a new number would mean paying for a month of service when I still have three weeks left on my old phone.
Hopefully, I can get something pushed through or at least get a month free. Or something.

Finally Ordered A Smart Phone!

Four In The Damn Morning.
That is when I got home from work. Took off my coat and tie. Got a glass of milk. Going to read some Time and then go to bed. Super exhausted but not sleepy just yet. The theater pulled in $27,000 on Breaking Dawn alone tonight. For the midnight show. Almost killed my boss. Again. Decided against it. Not worth it just because he is an overgrown alcoholic child. Going to be a busy weekend.
Today Begins Breaking Dawn Preparation
Tomorrow we open up an hour earlier, and have all then screens showing Twilight at midnight. Oh dear sweet Jeebus. If my phone worked with tumblr I would live blog the hell out of the crowds. I expect: screaming girls, screaming middle aged women, (hopefully) an edward/jacob gang fight/dance battle, scamming, and other such shenanigans.
